Born from love. Guided by science

As a practicing veterinarian, Dr. Cook was often asked one simple question: “What should I be feeding my dog?” She saw pet owners struggling to navigate confusing nutrition advice, experimenting with homemade diets, and choosing ingredients that weren’t always providing what their dogs truly needed. She wanted to create something simple—a nutritious, veterinarian-formulated topper made with quality ingredients that could complement a dog’s everyday diet, while offering a little extra support for optimal health.

Dr. Cook began making food toppers at home for her own dogs, incorporating thoughtfully selected ingredients such as fish oil, glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate, moringa—often called the “miracle tree”—astaxanthin, and turmeric. She shared them with friends and family, and the response was simple: their dogs loved them, and they wanted more.

And that’s how Vet’s Favorite began—created by a veterinarian, inspired by the clients and patients she cares for and the dogs she loves, and made to help pet owners feel good about giving their dogs what they need.
